Hosting an event with minimal waste not only helps to reduce your carbon footprint, but it can also help to bring you savings in your budget. If you are printing materials, choose recycled paper and vegetable inks and don’t be afraid to minimize printing by using double sided paper. A step further, you can eliminate paper invites and materials by using electronic invites and e-materials. Considering choosing re-useable rental decor or ensuring that your caterer offers actual dishes, cutlery, linens and stemware are other important steps in reducing unnecessary waste.
