After working with some of Canada’s top environmental organizations for over a decade, it felt only natural to connect my love for the environment with my passion for event planning. It all began with planning various events through work, from conferences and galas to fundraisers and cross-nation tours.
My challenge was to organize and host a successful event with as little impact on the planet as possible. Whether it was choosing responsible catering choices, offsetting carbon footprints or simply ensuring events were zero-waste, I quickly discovered that eco-friendly events are possible. Green events are part of the solution to many environmental issues, and eco-friendly considerations leave guests with a lasting impression.
